FCAC Orchestra plays Dreamworld |


“Best band trip so far” was all that could be heard from the students from the Fraser Coast Anglican College Orchestra as they returned from an action packed day at Dreamworld earlier this month.
The Middle and Senior School orchestra travelled down to Dreamworld to entertain the crowd with a taste of the exciting music our orchestra has been rehearsing since the beginning of the year. |

Year 12 Leadership Day |
 All of the year 12 students came together at the Hervey Bay Boat Club recently to discuss their goals for the year. The Year 12 Day was a follow-on from the successful Leadership Camp held at Alexandra Headlands.
A lot of ideas were generated from the Leadership Day and of course quite a few laughs were shared, but most importantly, a wonderful day was had by all. |

College commissions new Chaplain |


The Right Reverend Jonathon Holland, Bishop of the Northern Region visited the COllege recently to preside over the commissioning of the new Chaplain, Mr Mark Payne.
The Chaplain plays an important role in teaching, ministering, offering pastoral care, presenting the liturgy and news of the gospels and generally connecting the church with the School and vice versa. |

FCAC rules the pool |


The Fraser Coast Anglican College Secondary swim team won the Fraser District Championship held this week. FCAC were Third in Junior division, First in Senior division, First in percentage, and First overall.
This is the second time the College has won the Overall trophy, the last time was in 2008. |

2010 Senior Leadership Workshop |
 Fraser Coast Anglican College Prefects and House Captains traveled to Alexandra Headland recently to participate in a three day series of workshops. The workshops centered on student leadership and setting the goals and aspirations of the leadership team as well as the Year 12 seniors for 2010. |

Library nears completion |
 There were plenty of gasps from wide-eyed students as they entered the new library complex at the College upon their return to school. The finishing touches are being made to the $3m complex with most students passing through its doors to collect their text books for the year. |
