Scholarships are available in the following areas:
- Academic Scholarships
- Principal’s Discretionary Scholarships
- Music Scholarships.

Academic Scholarships are available for students going into Years 7 – 12.
Fraser Coast Anglican College Academic Scholarships are open to students commencing in Years 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12. Scholarships are provided on a competitive basis (students may be required to sit an exam).
The awarding of the scholarship is at the Principal’s discretion following an interview with students and parents. Awardees will retain the scholarship in following years provided they maintain performance and conduct commensurate with the award.
Scholarships are provided for part remission of the published General Tuition fees.
Principal’s Discretion Scholarship
Principal’s Discretionary Scholarships are offered to students from Years 7-12. Successful students receive part remission of the general tuition fees. This may be for a student who has academic, sporting, cultural (drama, dance or visual art) or music abilities.

Students applying for a Principal’s Discretion Scholarship will exhibit strong leadership qualities, be a role model for their peers and be a team player. They will be an all-rounder, possessing skills and abilities in a variety of areas such as academic, sporting, music, cultural and service.
To apply for a Principal’s Discretionary Scholarship, applicants are required to complete the application form, and submit along with a covering letter, written by the student, indicating if there is a particular focus for their talents (eg Regional or State representative for chosen sport, talents, community service) and their reasons for wishing to attend Fraser Coast Anglican College. Please also supply copies of the student’s last two semester’s school reports, most recent NAPLAN results and any other relevant certificates that may support their application.
Shortlisted applicants will be called for an interview with the Principal. Principal’s Discretion Scholarships are provided for part remission of the published General Tuition fees. Principal’s Discretionary Music Scholarships – Years 4 to 12
Students may apply to be considered for a Principal’s Discretionary Scholarship in Music which offers part or full remission of the published specialist music tuition fees and part remission of general tuition fees.
Shortlisted applicants will be required to audition, playing two contrasting own chosen pieces (accompanist essential), Aural Test and Sight Reading Test. All instruments are welcomed, with French Horn, Oboe, Bassoon, Viola and Cello strongly encouraged.
Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of a successful audition and applicants will be notified in due course following the audition process.
