Accommodation - Homestay
Fraser Coast Anglican College offer Homestay Accommodation and International students live with local families who are involved in the College community (normally fellow students). This gives our international students a great opportunity to become immersed in the English language.
Homestay accommodation provides a caring, warm, safe, friendly and supportive environment for International students whilst offering the chance for students to experience life in Australia and Australian culture at first hand.
Our Host families enjoy welcoming International students into their homes and take an active interest in their needs. Students are included in family activities and have the opportunity to develop life-long friendships with their host family.
The College places utmost importance on looking after the needs of all our students and we have a Homestay Coordinator who arranges, checks and inducts families who will be hosting International students. All Homestay families are cleared for the national "Working with Children" Suitability notices (the Blue Card).
