STEP Program
Fraser Coast Anglican College host trainee and practicing teachers from Hong Kong and Mainland China for their "in school experience" component of the QUT STEP Immersion Program. The School Experience is designed to give Students a rich cultural experience, as well as an in-depth immersion in a school setting.
A sample Itinerary for the FCAC school experience (6 nights):

| 10.30am-2pm | Australia Zoo |
| 4.30pm | Arrive at Fraser Coast Anglican College, meet with host family and settle in for the night |

| 8.35am | Welcome reception and speech from Principal Mr. Tony Wood |
| 9.15-10am | Tour of College campus with ESL Director Ms. Tanya Ferguson |
| 10-10.55am | Outline of program and expectations with Ms. Tanya Ferguson |
| 10.55-11.35am | Morning tea |
| 11.35am-12.45pm | Secondary Observations |
| 12.45-2.00pm | Lunch |
| 2.00-3.15pm | THRASS Introduction |
| 3.15-4.30pm | Welcome BBQ with host families and FCAC staff |

| 10.55-11.35am | Morning tea with Staff |
| 11.35am-12.45pm | Primary Observation |

| 1.30-3.15pm | Aboriginal Culture Session |

| 8.35-10.55am | Outdoor Education Experience – Philosophy and Practical |
| 10.55-11.35am | Morning tea |
| 11.35-12.45pm | Resource access time (i.e. text books etc.) |
| 12.45-1.30pm | Attend Secondary Assembly |
| 1.30-2pm | Lunch |
| 2-3.15pm | Presentation on Queensland School System with question time |
