Connect your BYOD Device from Home

Fraser Coast Anglican College has implemented a new system to connect students’ BYOD devices to our school IT infrastructure. Intune will provide fast and secure access for students to use the school Wi-Fi, curriculum applications, emails, internet and printer on personal devices.

School staff can only access school information through Intune and cannot:

  • see personal information
  • monitor what happens on the device
  • track or locate the device
  • see information on installed personal applications (other than school applications)
  • uninstall applications, including personal ones.

The instructions on this page will show you how to enrol a family-owned device using Intune and install an application we use to provide software to students. This process may take up to 30 minutes to complete. It is recommended you enrol your device at home using your home Wi-Fi internet connection. If needed, your child may also enrol at school using the FCAC- Onboard Wi-Fi service at the library.
