Eligibility

The Sport Scholarship is open to students, from any school, commencing in Years 7, 8, 9, 11 or 12 in 2025. Best suited to students who have a proven track record of performance in their chosen sport(s) and who have dedicated themselves to constant improvement through consistent training, feedback and new challenges. Applicants who have been selected at Wide Bay level or higher in their chosen sport, preferably through Queensland School Sport (or equivalent) pathway, have a high probability of being shortlisted.

We seek students who feel they have something to offer by contributing to a larger sporting community.

Applicants may be encouraged to supply evidence of their sports achievements (eg certificates, medals, references, etc), and shortlisted applicants will be invited to an interview with the Director of Sport.

Scholarships available

Full, Half or Part. The size of the scholarship offered is dependent on the strength of the application. Additional support is available for low-income families. Awardees will retain their scholarship in the following years and will have annual goal-setting and support meetings with the Director of Sport.
