Events and Communications Officer

Please note, as at Monday 19 February 2024 this position has closed for applications and is now being shortlisted.

We are currently recruiting for an Events & Communications Officer to join our College Staff Team.

This is a permanent, full-time position, allowing the successful person to harness their creativity and organisation  skills to deliver our diverse calendar of non-curricular events, including our Celebration of Achievement, Open Day, Alumni functions, Community Christmas Carols and our special assemblies like ANZAC Day and Grandparents Day.

Laboratory Technician

Please note, as at Monday 26 February 2024 this position has closed and is now with the hiring panel for shortlising.

We are currently recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to work in partnership with our Science teaching staff to deliver exciting learning opportunities for our students. This role is permanent part-time for 30 hours per week Monday to Friday (term-time only). Subjects on offer within the Science department include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Science (7-10) and Aquatic Practices.

Not only will you be working in updated laboratory facilities and classrooms, but you’ll have the opportunity to engage in meaningful excursions and camps in the picturesque waters of Hervey Bay and the Southern Great Barrier Reef as part of our Aquatics Practices.

Secondary Teacher – English

We are currently looking for a Secondary Teacher specialising in English to cover a maternity leave contract commencing Monday, 15 April 2024 (Term 2) for the remainder of this academic year.

Homestay Coordinator

Our International Student Program is ramping up with international schools wishing to come and visit our idyllic 62-acre bushland campus and explore the beautiful Fraser Coast Region and we are actively recruiting someone with exceptional communication and relationship skills to fill our Homestay Coordinator role.

If you enjoy engaging with people from diverse backgrounds and different nationalities, and possess high-level organisational and time management skills that allow you to actively remain calm under pressure, this is the perfect role for you!
