Canteen Convenor and Assistants

Please note as at 9am Monday 25 March 2024 the advertisement period for this position has closed and the panel will commence shortlisting. 

Are you passionate about providing nutritious meals to students in a dynamic educational environment? We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to oversee and assist in running our College canteen as a Canteen Convenor and Canteen Assistants.

As the Canteen Convenor, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations, from preparing lunches to managing online orders and inventory. Your friendly demeanour will shine as you assist students with their orders and address any concerns with parents, all while fostering strong relationships with College staff. Management experience in catering will be an advantage for this position.

Our Canteen Assistants also play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation through assisting in the preparation, serving, and clean-up of food in accordance with health and safety standards.

Homestay Coordinator

Our International Student Program is ramping up with international schools wishing to come and visit our idyllic 62-acre bushland campus and explore the beautiful Fraser Coast Region and we are actively recruiting someone with exceptional communication and relationship skills to fill our Homestay Coordinator role.

If you enjoy engaging with people from diverse backgrounds and different nationalities, and possess high-level organisational and time management skills that allow you to actively remain calm under pressure, this is the perfect role for you!

Secondary Teacher – English and Performing Arts / Drama

We are currently looking for a Secondary Teacher specialising in English to cover a maternity leave contract commencing Monday, 15 April 2024 (Term 2) for the remainder of this academic year.

Primary School Teacher Aide

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Primary School Teacher Aide to contribute to the positive learning environment at FCAC and share their passion for life-long learning with our enthusiastic students. Our students value educators who demonstrate an ability to build positive and collaborative relationships with both teachers and students, while assisting teachers to deliver differentiated programs and employing a variety of engaging methods to effectively communicate their knowledge and understanding to all learners.
