Volunteering
be part of something great

How can you help at FCAC?

We encourage College families to share their time, skills and interests in programs across the College community.

Classroom helpers

Classroom helpers

Our teachers are always looking for helpers to assist in the classroom. Volunteers typically assist with reading and maths rotations, art and craft activities, musicals, school events, etc. Parents with specific skill sets have volunteered as guest speakers, helpers in our Edge program, mentors in business programs and much more. If you have a desire to give your time to help our staff and students, please speak with your child’s teacher. We would love to hear from you.

Canteen

Canteen

The College Canteen is always looking for volunteers on a part time or regular basis.
Notices are frequently posted via the College app or you can contact the Convenor, Mrs Wendy Christie, directly by emailing her at [email protected].

Coaching

Coaching

Our Fraser Flames Sporting Club relies on members of the College community to coach and manage teams across a number of different sports. To get involved in the Fraser Flames, contact our Director of Sport, Ms Jo Duffy on [email protected].
All volunteers for coaching are required to have a Blue Card.

Outdoor education

Outdoor education

Our Outdoor Education program runs from Prep to Year 12 and volunteers can be a great asset to teachers and providers during camps. Volunteers assists staff with setting and packing up, cooking meals, transporting equipment and running activities.

To register your interest, contact your child’s classroom teacher (Primary), the Director of Middle Years or the Director of Senior Years.

Hobbies, interests and expertise

Hobbies, interests and expertise

Many parents have an area of interest or hobby that they are passionate about. The College runs many extra-curricular activities throughout the year, and if your area of interest or expertise coincides with these, we would love to hear from you.

Previously, we have had parents and grandparents help grow vegetable gardens, and assist with the Musical, school camps, Cultural Day, School Banking, Book Club, and fundraising events.
