We believe music plays a crucial role in Fraser Coast Anglican College’s education and development of students.
Instrumental music provides extensive benefits to students by enhancing their academic, emotional, and social growth. Recognising this significance, the College offers specialised individual music tuition to students from grades 1-12.
We offer a diverse range of musical instruments, ensuring students have the opportunity to explore their musical talents and interests. Instruments on offer include cello, violin, viola, double bass, clarinet, saxophone, flute, guitar, ukulele, drum kit, orchestral percussion, guitar, piano, euphonium, trombone, trumpet, and voice. This extensive selection allows students to pursue their passion and learn to play an instrument that resonates with them personally. Theory lessons are also available for students wanting to extend their knowledge or meet AMEB exam requirements.
Fraser Coast Anglican College has a number of instrumental and vocal ensembles, covering classical to contemporary repertoire. Our instrumental music teachers bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise, meaning students get the very best of specialist music education on their chosen instrument.

Enrolment for Instrumental Music Tuition
Instrumental lessons are held each week during Term and times coordinated with the assistance of the classroom teacher. Lessons generally take place during school hours, however special arrangements may be made for before or after school lessons. Senior students are prioritised when coordinating timetables.
